New Delhi: Korean pop band ‘aespa’ made their Instagram debut ahead of making an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 for the first time. Band members Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning made their Instagram accounts and shared group selfies while their fans cannot keep calm. All four members crossed the one million followers mark quickly.
Ningning shared a monochrome mirror selfie and has 1.2M followers on Instagram. Karina shared a similar monochrome selfie and gained 1.4M followers in six hours. Winter and Giselle shared coloured mirror selfies and have 1.2M and 1.1M followers respectively. All of these selfies featured K-pop singers in black outfits.
While Giselle and Ningning are following the band members and aespa’s official page, Winter and Karina are following just the band members.
Fans showered a lot of love in the comment sections and their posts have gone viral on the internet. The band is set to make its Cannes debut and has reportedly taken the flight to France to attend the film festival as an ambassador for the Swiss jewelry brand Chopard.
Aespa was formed by SM Entertainment and is one of the most successful Korean girl bands. The band made its debut on 17 November 2020, with the single ‘Black Mamba’ and their second single, ‘Next Level’, earned them a huge commercial success. They recently released their third extended play ‘My World’ which proved to be a chartbuster in South Korea and was received well globally.
SM Entertainment announced their ‘Synk: Hyper Line Tour’ starting on August 13.
