Arshad Warsi On SEBI Bans: The Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has recently taken action in the matter of manipulation of shares. Under this, it is being said that SEBI has banned some people including Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi and his wife Maria Goretti from doing business, buying or selling in the securities market. This action has been taken regarding a misleading YouTube video suggesting to buy shares of two companies ‘Sharpline Broadcast Limited’ and ‘Sadhana Broadcast Limited’. According to a report in NDTV, Arshad Warsi earned a profit of Rs 29.43 lakh while his wife Maria earned a profit of Rs 37 lakh. However, Arshad Warsi has now given clarification on the allegations leveled against him.

Arshad dismissed the allegations
Soon after the names of Arshad Warsi and his wife surfaced, the actor denied all the allegations by posting on his Twitter account. He told fans not to believe everything they read, and shared that he and his wife have zero knowledge about stocks. Arshad wrote, “Please don’t believe everything you read in the news. Maria and I have zero knowledge about stocks, took advice and invested in Saradha and lost all our hard earned money like many others.”

A few weeks ago, Arshad Warsi shared the first look poster of a new film on his Instagram account, in which he was shown behind bars with Sanjay Dutt. After which it is being said that ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ stars are ready to rock the big screen once again. Along with sharing this poster, the actor wrote in the caption that he and Sanjay are teaming up for another entertainment film. Directed by Siddhant Sachdev, the film is produced by Sanjay Dutt. Not much information has been revealed about this project yet.
