The makers of the film competed in a similar manner at various international award ceremonies, including the Golden Globes and the Hollywood Critics Association Awards.

All eyes on Oscars 2023

If the latest reports are to be believed, the makers of ‘RRR’ have spent Rs 83 crore for the promotion of international award ceremonies including Oscar and Golden Globe. The interesting thing is that a major part of this promotional expenditure was given by director SS Rajamouli himself, that too from his personal account. The rest of the expenditure, which was a minor part, was taken from the box office collection of ‘RRR’ from Japan and Russia. However, none of these reports has been officially confirmed yet.

Composer MM Keeravani’s chartbuster song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has been nominated for Oscar 2023 in the Best Song category. Another exciting news is that this song will be performed live on stage by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaal Bhairav. The 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Rajamouli, NTR, Charan and the entire team of ‘RRR’ are all set to join the Grand Night.
