Patna: The State Congress on Saturday held a meeting of its Political Affairs Committee and discussed matters related to raids by central agencies targeting opposition leaders. The committee members also hoped that Rahul Gandhi would visit Bihar during his “Bharat Jodo Yatra” covering several parts of the country.
Former governor Nikhil Kumar, who heads the state political affairs committee of the Congress, told TOI, “Everyone talked about the action being taken by the investigative agencies against opposition leaders. We don’t know whether the CBI, ED and What are IT really doing.” ,
Asked about the party’s strategy for the Lok Sabha polls, he said, “The alliance is already in place in the state.” He said that the committee has authorized the party’s state president Akhilesh Prasad Singh to take a decision.
