A man has been arrested for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl during Holi celebrations in Bihar’s Rohtas village on Wednesday.
Police said that the accused knew the minor girl. When his family members were celebrating Holi, he had lured the minor girl on the pretext of giving her a water gun.

People saw the girl covered in blood after which she narrated her ordeal.
He was taken to the district hospital but was referred to another hospital for treatment.
Police said that there was a clash between two groups of villagers of Mahuari village under Baghalia police station area.
“Heavy police force has been deployed in the village following heavy tension between the two groups,” a police officer said.
“The statement of the minor girl will be recorded under 164 CrPC. Police said that the condition of the minor girl has improved.
Superintendent of Police Vineet Kumar said a case has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
