Gaya: Army’s mortar shell exploded outside the firing range in Bihar’s Gaya. Went Due to which three villagers of the district died.
A senior police officer said that the incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday in Gularved village under Barachatti police station area.
Gaya Senior Superintendent of Police Ashish Bharti said six people were injured when a mortar shell fell and exploded.
All of them were taken to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital in the town, where three injured villagers, including a woman, died during treatment.
The SSP said that the condition of the remaining three, including two women, is critical and a police team has been sent to the spot for investigation.
