Fan recreates Allu Arjun’s iconic pose to celebrate Australia’s win in Indore Test

Australia, led by stand-in captain Steven Smith, won their first match of the ongoing four-match Border-Gavaskar series by defeating India by 9 wickets in just two days and a session at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. India were bowled out for 109 in the first innings and 163 in the second. Australia made 197 in their first innings and chased down the required 76 for victory on the third morning.

Australia’s inspiring comeback after humiliating defeats in the first two Tests gave their fans a rare chance to celebrate. In a viral video, an Australian fan can be heard reciting superstar Allu Arjun’s iconic “Jhukega nahi saala” dialogue as he recreated the iconic scene from 2021 super-hit film Pushpa.

Coming into the Ind vs Aus 3rd Test, India won the toss and elected to bat first. The Indian batsmen were rattled by the Australian spinners, especially Matthew Kuhnmann, as he took his first five-for in Tests to bowl out the hosts for just 109 runs in their first innings. India made a good comeback and restricted them to 197. Ravindra Jadeja (4 wickets) was the pick of the Indian bowlers, while R Ashwin (3 wickets) and Umesh Yadav (3 wickets) scalped three wickets each.
India, in their second innings, were bowled out for 169, courtesy a record-breaking spell from spinner Nathan Lyon, who took 8 Indian wickets. Australia chased down the target of 78 on the third day to win the IND vs AUS Indore Test, level the series 2–1.
