What a start to the Women’s Premier League so far. The competition so far has seen some brilliant batting, fielding as well as some brilliant bowling performances and we are just getting started. On Monday, another high-octane contest is coming from the women’s league and it is Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Mumbai completely dominated the opening match of the tournament against Gujarat and would be looking to replicate a similar performance against Bangalore. However, it won’t be that easy as even though Bangalore didn’t have their best match against Delhi in their opener, they have a star-studded lineup that could come good any day.
Mumbai vs Bangalore Fantasy Tips:
wicket keeper:
This is an important segment of fantasy teams and also a difficult one, especially for this game. That’s because the best bet is to include both Yatsika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh, the keeper of both the teams, in the side. However, here’s why it becomes difficult, while Ghosh has been in good form with the bat, she tends to bat lower down the order, making her less likely to make an impact compared to someone like Bhatia, who is lower down the order. Batting However, the MI keeper has not been in his best form.
batsman:
It is not difficult to pick someone like Harmanpreet Kaur in the Fantasy 11 of this team. He has been in excellent form and has started the tournament with a bang. Smriti Mandhana is also a class player who can make a difference at the top of the order. Heather Knight and Sophie Devine are other options that can be picked from this section as they are also part-time bowlers and thus have the potential to score more runs.
all rounder:
This is the engine room of a fantasy team. Amelia Kerr, Hayley Matthews, Natalie Sciver and Ellyse Perry are some of the all-round options that could be included in the squad. Pick all four if your team balance and credit structure allows, and picking a captain or vice-captain from this section wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Bowler:
Renuka Singh Thakur, Sayka Ishaq after their performances in the opening game and Isabel Wong are the suggested selections from the specialist bowlers who will play this fixture.
