What did the captains say after the toss was over?
Harmanpreet Kaur: It’s a special day for all of us, want to enjoy the moment. It is a good wicket to bat on but it will have something for the bowlers as well. We have some young players who will play today and we are looking forward to see how they play.
Beth Mooney: We’ll go bowling. Looks beautiful with grass too, it’s a hard and flat surface, lots of runs here. So thrilled to be a part of the (WPL), a great crowd and I’m loving it. We have a fun group, we talk a lot about cricket. We have the experience of playing in front of big grounds, we can pass that on to the younger members. Three fast bowlers and four spinners in our playing XI today, eyeing some early wickets.
