Garmin Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 965 GPS running watches with AMOLED displays announced

Garmin recently announced the Forerunner 265 series and the Forerunner 965, its first dedicated GPS-powered smartwatches with vibrant AMOLED displays. To top it off, the recently launched MARQ Second Generation Collection is now available in India.

These light and bright watches are built for any distance, with an optional always-on, full-color display that’s easy to read in any weather and a responsive touchscreen, plus everyday health features, fast access to smart notifications 5-button design for access to and more.

This performance monitoring tool from Garmin FirstBeat Analytics has it all: VO2 max, performance status, training impact and more. Two adaptive training plan options are available for those training for their next race: Enter race information into the Garmin Connect calendar to receive daily workouts, or use free Garmin Coach plans from expert coaches. When training outside, athletes can plan their race day strategy using PacePro and SatIQ technology for improved positioning accuracy.

The Forerunner 265 provides athletes with a comprehensive picture of their health with wrist-based pulse ox sensor, body battery energy monitoring, advanced sleep monitoring and sleep scores, stress tracking, menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking and more.

Garmin Forerunner 965

The Forerunner 965 is the perfect watch for athletes striving for excellence. It builds on the Forerunner 265 with additional performance metrics, built-in mapping and the ability to store more songs. With features like load ratio, real-time endurance insight and ClimbPro, athletes can keep track of their training, prevent burnout and explore new terrain with full-color, built-in maps.

Plus, its lightweight titanium bezel, 47mm case size, and Garmin’s largest AMOLED display make it a great choice for athletes. The Forerunner 965 offers up to 31 hours of battery life in GPS mode and up to 23 days in smartwatch mode.

Pricing and Availability

The Garmin Forerunner 965 will arrive in late March with a suggested retail price of $599.99 (roughly Rs. 49,163). Alternatively, the Forerunner 265 is already available for purchase for $449.99 (roughly Rs. 36,872).
