HONOR has recently started releasing new devices in India. Last year, they launched their latest tablet Honor Pad 8. It appears that they are teasing the launch of the HONOR Pad 8 on Amazon India, suggesting that it will also launch on Amazon.
Honor Pad 8 is not exactly new as it is available in some global markets including India. For those unfamiliar with the tablet, it features a 12-inch 2K LCD screen with 87% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM, and runs on Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1 . It also has 5 megapixel front and rear cameras.
Additional highlights of the tablet include a sleek, 6.9mm metal body, 8 speakers, HONOR’s self-developed audio tuning algorithm, DTS audio tuning technology, and Hi-Res Gold Label certification. Further, it comes with a 7250mAh battery with up to 22.5W fast charging support.
From the teaser, it appears that the tablet being launched on Amazon is the same one that was released on Flipkart last year. However, it is unclear whether there have been any changes to the specifications. The teaser mentions that the tablet will be available in two storage variants: 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB.
