TECNO is organizing TECNO Avatar Making Competition, a nationwide graphic design-focused competition from March 17 to 27, in association with IIT-Delhi to identify and recognize creative and innovative talent in India. This is an extension of IIT Delhi’s annual cultural festival, Rendezvous 2023, which began last week.
Contestants will create “gaming characters” that represent characteristics found in the techno-powered POVA series. The POVA product line, according to the company, echoes the trinity of speed, power and performance and is renowned for providing users with an unparalleled gaming experience and superior smartphone performance.
The competition is open to talented students from 800 reputed colleges and universities across the country. The firm hopes that the participants’ entries will embody the essence of sustainability and agility. It has to be submitted in the form of GB Box Design on the Unstop portal by March 27, 2023.
The winning avatar art will be featured on the packaging of the limited gaming edition smartphones in the upcoming POVA series. In addition, the top three entries will be eligible to win exciting techno prizes.
Talking about the contest, Arijit Talapatra, CEO, Techno Mobile said,
We have always centered our activities around zilennials to create a great experience for them. The Avatar Making Competition under our Youth-Connect program is one of its kind which enables students to explore the unknown possibilities with their talent for creativity.
With this contest, we aim to encourage the youth to break free from their monotonous schedules and realize their inner potential to create larger than life artwork. Our partnership with IIT-D creates a unique experiential platform to connect with our consumers on an emotional level. We are looking forward to a positive response from the students and look forward to closely watching their innovative thinking.
