Women’s Day 2023: Search engine giant Google is celebrating International Women’s Day with a special doodle that highlights the way women provide support and assistance to each other in their daily lives. From women in positions of influence who advocate for progress on issues central to the lives of women everywhere, to women who come together to explore, learn, and rally for their rights and women who advocate for women from all walks of life. From people who are primary caregivers to women who are important support systems for each other in motherhood, the search engine honors women around the world.
“The vignettes from each GOOGLE letter highlight just a few of the many areas in which women support each other to improve their progress and quality of life,” Google said in a statement.

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8 March. The purpose of the day is to emphasize the achievements of women in various fields, as well as to shed light on important issues such as gender inequality that are still prevalent.
International Women’s Day was celebrated for the first time on March 19, 1911 in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The theme for International Women’s Day this year is Embrace Equity.
