Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirm they have been evicted from Frogmore Cottage by King Charles, The Mirror reports after claiming the monarch decided to remove them from the Windsor estate while offering the property to Prince Andrew Did. According to The Mirror, a spokesperson for the Sussexes said: “We can confirm that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage.”

Omid Scobie, one of the authors behind Harry and Meghan’s biography, Finding Freedom, said King Charles’ decision came after Prince Harry released his controversial memoir Spare in January, which said the couple It was held that the property was required for “someone else”. At a time when relations between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the rest of the royal family are at an “all-time low”.

Frogmore Cottage was a gift from the late Queen Elizabeth II following the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. The cottage was converted into a home , which previously had five separate properties for staff working at the Windsor Estate, The Mirror reported.
