On Kiev visit, UN chief condemns ‘shocking’ video of killing of Ukrainian soldier
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Wednesday described as “shocking” a viral video apparently showing a detained Ukrainian soldier being shot after chanting a pro-Ukraine slogan.
“The shocking photos of the recent sudden killing of a Ukrainian soldier are another sad reminder that the laws of war must be strictly respected,” Guterres said during a visit to Kiev.
